ANTHRO:Facial recreations of hominid ancestors

From Discovery News- interesting 3D black and white imigaes that reconstruct the facial
characteristics of some of our hominid ancestors.  Some of this is based on scientific data, some on informed conjecture, but it's probably a pretty close estimatin of what these folks looked like.

Very interesting article. It spurred me to do more reading about a few Homo species on Wikipedia. I should definitely take a Human Evolution class.

www.talkorigins.org is the best site to look up info about particular hominid species. I can't vouch for all of what's on wikipedia but it's usually pretty good, although people do go in there from time to time and mess with the scientific information if it doesn't suit their worldview.
